SepI love them minions and unicorns.
Unicorns, I love them. Unicorns, I love them.
Last Saturday, The Boyfriend and I had to choose whether we’d go to Tagaytay with my former college orgmates or watch The Expendables at Market!Market!, Taguig. We were already late for the Tagaytay trip, so we decided to watch a movie instead. Angel and Em tagged along, since they were already with The Boyfriend that time.
An hour later, I met up with the three and we decided to watch Despicable Me 3D since it’ll be more fun than The Expendables. I initially hesitated ‘cause I only wanted to watch it on SM iMax. I, however, just gave in. We all wanted to experience the 3D thingamajig at the said mall anyway. And besides, it’s an Ayala Mall, so we know it’s safe to give it a try.
Hun and I have been planning to watch Despicable Me since we first saw the trailer several weeks ago. Back then, we only knew three things: (1) it’s about a Super Villain with tiny funny yellow creatures as accomplices, (2) there’s a cute kiddo, and (3) it’ll be fun if we watched it on 3D.
So there we were—four adults with Brothers Burger take-outs, onion rings, popcorn, Tater drinks and 3D glasses—watching a film in a movie house full of mothers and their kids.
[I had to delete a part of this entry ‘cause I don’t wanna give out certain scenes. No spoilers, I’m nice like that. Har]
The movie’s so good. We were just giggling, laughing, aww-ing, and smiling throughout the duration of the film. It was superb. The minions made it funny. Agnes provided the adorable-ness. And Gru gave the “aww” moments.
We walked out of the movie house trying to be as adorable as Agnes. Of course we failed.

Kfyn, that’s more Gru-like than Agnes-like.
