English translation of the song “Nella Fantasia (In My Fantasy)”:
In my imagination I see a fair world,
Everyone lives in peace and in honesty there.
I dream of souls that are always free,
Like the clouds that fly,
Full of humanity in the depths of the soul.In my imagination I see a bright world,
Even the night is less dark there.
I dream of souls that are always free,
Like clouds that fly.
In my imagination there exists a warm wind,
That breathes on the cities, like a friend.
I dream of souls that are always free,
Like clouds that fly,
Full of humanity in the depths of the soul. -

365 days. 365 items of clothing. 365 dollars.
365 clothes for the price of a single pair of Ralph Lauren vintage jeans? I dunno about you, but that sounds totally awesome for me.
Blogger Marisa Lynch is only a few weeks shy of reaching her goal of spending a dollar a day for an entire year to make new dresses. Her blog, aptly named New Dress A Day, is her cyber journal-slash-closet where she boasts her skills on transforming flea market/thrift store buys into something current and wearable.
Lynch’s “experiment” was featured on TIME.com and I became a fan even before I saw her blog. I started subscribing to her posts ‘cause, hello, who among you fine ladies don’t want to see what a gal could do to a sad-looking, one-dollar dress? Here are my faves so far:
DAY 77:

DAY 138:

DAY 148:

DAY 191:

DAY 239:

DAY 242:

By now, she has 301 custom-made tops, dresses and whatnot in her closet. Doesn’t that make you jealous? I know I am.

Augbottoms up
There’s something about unique glasses which I love. For starters, they’re unique, which you do not need to know ‘cause they’re pretty darn obvious. The second and most important reason why I love ‘em is because they’re fun. We all need a little somethin’ somethin’ to make us smile, y’know. I actually own a unique mug and I’d love to post a picture of it once my camera meets its doctor. *sigh*
Back to the point of this entry. I chanced upon an image of a glass and I let the intarwebs do its magic. Several minutes later, I already have images of cool, fun, and unique glasses I would love to have. *ehem, friends, ehem* Hee. Check ‘em out:
Hopside Down: Crazy cool. Crazy fun.

Ghost Goblet: Now this is a fun and elegant way to spend those sipping-wine-while-watching-the-telly moments. <3

Petit Coeur red wine glass: Is it just me or does this thingy look like a heart? Weird, eh? But cool. Really cool.

Ludico Tilted Shot Glasses: I am on a serious lookout for a set of tilted shot glasses. Glasses like this one would make a cool Christmas present, y’know! :>

split cup-and-saucer: C’mon, don’t tell me this ain’t cute. It’s adorable. Think about how you and your partner could literally split a cup of coffee. Har. I’m in love with this. Oh, the idea of sweet mornings and a cup of coffee shared w/ Hun. My heart’s grinning. lol

Stacked: my dream cup. I’ve always wanted something like this, ever since I saw a drawing of this awesome creation. It’s a playful way of drinking some serious beans. :)

I should probably start scribbling my Christmas wish list. Hee.
